Growing up I pretty much listened to whatever my parents did...I think the first band that was truly mine and that I loved was Ben Folds Five...I'm going on like my 4th copy of, "Whatever and Ever Amen." Even though the band is no more, I still listen to them, and I'm totally into Ben Fold's solo work...
